Frequently Asked Questions
1. What can I expect to learn in a seminar that's just two hours in length? The seminars are designed to save you anywhere from four weeks to four months worth of personal research. They're meant to give you a taste of a topic, to inspire you to go further in-depth or to give you an edge in your chosen field. However, it's important to keep your expectations realistic about what can happen in a two-hour time frame. 2. What if I want to pursue a topic further? The teacher often provides a list of resources for those students who are inspired to investigate a topic at a more advanced level. First Class, Inc. offers very few advanced level courses in its regular curriculum. 3. Is there any way to contact a teacher if I'm unable to attend a seminar? Unfortunately, due to a respect for privacy on behalf of all presenters, First Class, Inc. will never release any personal information about a teacher. We also never release our mailing list to any other organization. 4. Are the same seminars offered in every brochure? Several of the seminars that are offered by local instructors are repeated on a regular basis. However, seminars offered by out-of-town guest lecturers are given one time only. You're welcome to call our office (202) 797-5102 or send us an e-mail and check whether or not a seminar will be offered again. 5. I'm considering becoming a member of First Class, Inc.... at what point does it become financially worthwhile? If you plan to take more than 3 seminars in a year, the membership becomes very valuable (especially, if you take advantage of the half-price specials offered to members only). The program is designed to offer regular class takers substantial savings. If you take just 10 classes a year, the membership will save you over $130.00. |
