Rules and Regs
In October, First Class installed a new Board Of Directors. We are sincerely excited to offer a broad range of classes presented by industry professionals and community experts. Our fall 2011 catalog will be limited to some of our top classes as we prepare to resume a full schedule in January. Because First Class is a not-for-profit organization that relies entirely on class enrollment, we kindly ask you to abide by our rules and guidelines. We appreciate your patronage and we look forward to continuing to offer tremendous classes! Student Cancellation:All classes have a limited number of seats. In addition, our instructors are paid based on enrollment, not on the number of people who actually attend. Class materials are also developed for the number of students enrolled. For this reason, we cannot provide refunds. Please ensure that you are able to attend any class you register for. Should you not be able to attend due to emergency, we welcome you to send a friend or family member in your place. Please advise our team if you plan to send a substitute via email at info@takeaclass.org. Should you not attend a class, we are pleased to accept your class fee as a donation to First Class. We are also more than happy to provide a receipt outlining your donation for tax purposes. First Class Cancellation:Should First Class choose to cancel a class due to weather, low enrollment, or instructor illness, you will be offered a full refund or admission to a rescheduled section of the same class. Short notice cancellations will be updated on our web site and phone system. In addition, we will attempt to contact you by phone and email. Thank You!Thank you for reading and understanding the rationale behind our policies. It is our goal to ensure the growth of lifelong learning and to act as a conduit between students and information providers. |
