Never touched a knitting needle? Think purls come from the sea? This is the class for you! Learn to cast on, create your first stitch, and bind off in a friendly and welcoming environment. By the end of class, you'll be ready to complete your first project! *A $10 materials fee is payable to teacher at the start of class for all of your materials. Class size limited to 12. Pictured: "The Phyllis Wrap;" Cate's most popular creation (an advanced project).

Cate Meyers is a life-long artist and crafter. A creative director at a non-profit organization by day, she studied design at Columbia College Chicago. Cate resides in Virginia, where she hosts a weekly knit-together. Her jewelry and knitting creations can be viewed here.
