Experience different varieties of chocolate using all your senses - by taste, smell, sight and feel. Class participants will experience and evaluate a wide variety of chocolates and learn about the different applications and characteristics of different varieties and production methods and suggested pairings from a professional chocolatier. Fee includes all materials and chocolate samples.
Larissa Ormsby Gibson
trained as a chocolatier with the professional school of the chocolate arts, Ecole Chocolat and the L'Academie de Cuisine. She began the artisan chocolate company, Chocolattea Artisanal in 2006. Chocolattea Artisanal is dedicated to purity in chocolate and exploring and pairing unique world flavors. Ms. Gibson has led chocolate tasting classes pairing both beers and wines with chocolate in the past.
