Die-hard home roasters will tell you that home roasting elevates your coffee drinking experience to NIRVANA. Home roasting will give you the freshest smelling and tasting coffee around. Sonia will demonstrate how to roast your own beans and you will sample and discuss coffees of varying origins. Learn the differences between fair trade beans, organic beans and shade grown beans. Because the first time you taste the coffee beans you have roasted yourself, you may never go back to pre-roasted beans. Come learn the art of making absolutely delicious coffee roasted to your own profile preference. Bring your favorite mug to class!
Pictured: Instructor is comparing freshly roasted beans to unroasted coffee beans. Full home roasting time was 16 minutes with 4 minutes to cool.
