Join us and explore the world of digital photography! This course provides an introduction to the fascinating technology that is catapulting the photographic world into the 21st century. We'll discuss the basics of digital photography, equipment, software, the digital darkroom, printing, Internet and e-mail use, along with commercial and personal applications. You'll learn what you need, what you can do, and what you can expect to invest. Whether you're new to photography or a long-time professional looking for a complement to traditional photography, this class will provide an introduction to new opportunities for putting digital photography to use.

Dr. Beverly Schulz is a freelance photographer and a graduate of the Professional Photography program at the New York Institute of Photography. She teaches several classes in digital and traditional photography and has more than 20 years of classroom instruction experience.

Important: The online courses are 6 weeks long and two lessons are released per week (on Wednesday and Friday). You do not need to be present when the lessons are released. The online courses require a strong commitment from each student as they are designed to pick up where our two hour seminars leave off. Once you enroll, you will be sent an E-mail on how to select a username and password for your online class.
